Responsibilities • Read project plans, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp the requirements • Oversee and manage the daily needs/requirements of the project • Estimate time & materials and coordinate as needed • Schedule and supervise workforce and subcontractors • Coordinate work and communicate with the client when necessary • Ensure quality and performance of work is of the highest quality • Prepare and submit the Project Daily Log Report with pictures and progress report • Approve crews digital time cards • Identify change order requirements and share client request with the project manager • Ordering of materials from vendors and arrange deliveries • Perform work as project requires • Maintain project site safety and inspect site for safety violations • Communicate with Project Supervisors to schedule work force • Lead by example with positive attitude, proper PPE and safe work practices • Proficient in the use of all types of construction tools and equipment • Maintain company vehicles, tools and equipment in a safe working condition • Coach and work with coworkers to train best practices and safe work habits • Meet with code officials and complete job site inspections • Maintain a clean job site (clean up daily) Qualifications • 2-3 years' experience in the construction trade as a project foreman or similar. • Regular attendance of 8-10 hour day shifts Monday-Friday. • Knowledge and understanding of commercial construction and terminology. • Knowledge and understanding the management of construction sites Knowledge and proficient use of construction labor hours. • Knowledge and understanding of the occupational hazards and safety precautions. • Knowledge and understanding of construction risks and how to mitigate them. • Knowledge and proficient use of today's project management software. • Must possess the ability to read, interpret, and work from project plans and specifications. • Must be self-motivated and have a desire for continued learning and personal growth. • Must be highly detailed with excellent organization skills. • Must have the ability to think critically, innovate, and solve challenging technical problems. • Must possess the ability to take initiative and work independently. • Must possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize/manage time and coworkers effectively. • Must possess a positive attitude towards project challenges. • Must have effective time management and logical decision-making ability. • Must possess a strong work ethic, the ability to handle pressure, and meet deadlines. • Physical, mental, and emotional fitness are essential. • Must have the ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards. • Must be able to work as a team and be a team leader. • OSHA 10-hour card preferred. Construction Site Supervisor

As a result of our growth, Fer-Pal is looking to hire a Site Supervisor reporting out of the Elgin office. Site Supervisor The Site Supervisor assists with planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.
