Job Title: Construction Operations Manager About the Role: The Construction Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of multiple construction projects. This includes managing teams, coordinating with clients, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities: • Manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously. • Client management and team leadership. • Project management from proposals to close out. • Estimating, scheduling, purchasing, quality assurance, and safety programs. • Collaborate with staff to provide alternative solutions for clients. • Collaborate and monitor Superintendent(s) performance on contracts and/or work orders. • Point of contact for project management staff, architects, subcontractors, owners, engineers, etc. • Firm understanding of General Contracting and all divisions of work. • Create and maintain project cost and management reports. • Document and negotiate changes that may affect project completion or contract costs with subcontractors and owners. • Develop field quality assurance and quality control plan with Superintendent. • Collaboration of project safety plan with Superintendent(s). • Responsible for managing MBE/WBE subcontracting requirements. • Responsible for EEO/Affirmative action contract requirements. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering. • 5-10 years of construction experience. • Well-versed in Job Order Contracts. • Experience in various delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM@Risk. • Knowledge of construction, design, cost reporting, and cash flow management. • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, Blue Beam, Microsoft Project, CM14, and/or Procore. • Strong communication and organizational skills.
