Job Title: Construction Site Worker FLSA Status: Non-exempt (Overtime Eligible) Prepared By: Corporate Human Resources Wages: $17 to $30 per hour based on documented knowledge, skills, and abilities Summary: Champion is seeking an experienced and reliable construction professional to join the team. The Construction Set Crew Member will participate in all aspects of the construction and assembly of manufactured housing and will report directly to a Construction Crew Lead. This crew will primarily work within a three-hour region around Ruskin, FL. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The key responsibilities of this position are outlined below. Other duties may be assigned. • Prepare set site which includes, excavation, concrete, and plumbing. • Set (block and level) Manufactured Housing Units (Modular and HUD code homes). • Structurally fasten the units. • Complete the roof closure and shingling. • Close up the exterior mate wall sheathing seams to provide a weather-tight product. • Complete interior trim out, finish work and install skirting. • Complete exterior site which includes building decks, sidewalks, landscaping, and general clean-up. • Maintain company tools and materials. Inform management of any issues that arise. • Represent Champion Home Builders with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor. Survey Technicians are responsible for collecting data along telecommunication routes while using specialized industry devices. Thorough training is provided to all new hires, and opportunities for advancement are available for top performers. No prior experience is necessary. Position requires in market CT travel with the weekly schedule being Monday - Saturday. This will be on a 4.5 week on/10 day off schedule. Job Responsibilities for Survey Technician position • Walking telecommunications routes through rural and urban areas • Utilizing various applications/software for communication, shift assignment, and data collection • Completing assigned data collection quotas along designated telecommunication routes using IKE and other equipment/technology • Uploading collected telecommunication data at the end of the shift via Wi-Fi. • When travelling, arriving for scheduled bookings on the first day of shift (travel plan, hotels, rentals) • Attending daily coordinator calls to review assigned jobs and maps for the day and end-of-shift meetings to review progress on assigned jobs • Must have cell phone with data service • Other duties as assigned.
