Experienced Brick Mason

Full-Time Reform Masonry in search of an Experienced Restoration Mason to staff multiple current and upcoming projects. Our Company is based in the Boston Neighborhood, Hyde Park Massachusetts. Reform Masonry is an established Masonry Company that has been erecting and repairing commercial structures in Massachusetts for 30 years. We are seeking to hire an Experienced Restoration Mason for a Full-Time position with year-round work. Duties are as follows, but not limited to: • Perform all duties assigned by Owner or Foreman. • Carry materials and supplies from trucks to job site so they are ready for installation or other tasks. • Operate Heavy Machinery • Operate Area Lift • Test equipment and machinery to ensure it is in good working order • Remove damaged Brick • Build, install, or repair structure with Masonry Units, such as bricks, block, or stone • Mix specific amount of sand, cement, lime, and water to form mortar • Spread mortar on slabs and surfaces to fuse bricks or blocks together • Use tools to clean and polish the surface of finished brickwork • Seal expanding or contracting joints with caulking materials • Clean up job site at end of day and ensure all equipment is properly secure for the night • Follow instructions to ensure safety of entire team • Listening to direction so that work is done properly, and safety is maintained • Measure and cut to desired specifications • Display a good eye for detail • Take pride in one's work Qualification and Skills • High School diploma/GED preferred • Ability to lift, move, and work with heavy tools and material such as cement bags and blocks • Well versed in taking measurements and laying out projects according to set plans • Skilled in using hand/power tools to lay, align, and set bricks to form structure • Ability to complete work on time and budget with minimal supervision • Ability to work with others • Strong verbal and communication skills • Ability to work in all weather conditions • Organizational Skills • Knowledgeable in Mason Tools of the trades • Dependable Job Type: Full-time Work Location: In person

Job Title: Commercial Masonry Estimator Commercial masonry estimation involves preparing accurate and detailed estimates for commercial projects, focusing on higher education, K-12, military work, and retail. The role requires strong knowledge of structural and architectural drawings, experience in 3D modeling, and a proven track record of large project estimations ranging from $10M to $20M+. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare accurate and detailed masonry estimates for commercial projects. • Utilize Tradesman's Master Estimating software for masonry to create and manage estimates effectively. • Analyze project drawings and specifications to assess material and labor costs. • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure bid accuracy and address any concerns. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors to facilitate future bidding opportunities. Qualifications: • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial masonry estimation. • Familiarity with Tradesman software is highly preferred. • Strong knowledge of structural and architectural drawings. • Proficiency in 3D modeling software. • Experience with large-scale projects in the $10M to $20M+ range.
