Surveys Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Surveying Professional to lead our growing survey practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting field and office surveys throughout Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the success of our organization. As a Surveying Professional, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including boundary, topographic, and engineering surveys. Responsibilities: • Conduct field surveys and prepare related documents, including plats and easement descriptions • Oversee project schedules and crews to ensure timely completion of projects • Analyze data and prepare reports to meet tristate regulatory standards • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders Requirements: • Possess a valid Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in KS or eligibility for licensure in KS, OK, and MO within six months • Have at least 4-6 years of experience in boundary, platting, topographic, and construction/engineering surveys • Demonstrate proficiency in GPS/RTK and robotic total stations, as well as CAD drafting software (e.g., Civil3D) • Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel throughout the tristate region Preferred Qualifications: • Expertise in ALTA/NSPS, subdivision, or easement surveys • Prior experience supervising survey crews and managing project budgets • Familiarity with UAS (drone) or LiDAR mapping technology Working Conditions: The successful candidate will be stationed in Pittsburg, KS, and will be required to travel regularly to job sites. A company survey truck and state-of-the-art GPS/RTK equipment will be provided. Compensation and Benefits: The salary range for this position is $40-$60,000 per year.
