Renewable Energy Finance Attorney We are seeking a skilled attorney to lead our renewable energy project finance initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced lawyer with a passion for clean energy and a talent for structuring complex financing transactions. • Manage all aspects of renewable project development, including solar, solar plus storage, stand-alone storage, and wind projects. • Act as internal counsel on tax equity, tax credit transfer, and debt financings for such projects, as well as corporate financings. • Draft, review, and negotiate financing documentation, as well as project-related documents. • Closely collaborate with AES Clean Energy's project finance and corporate finance teams. Tax Manager - Renewable Energy

Director of Transmission Strategy

A leading renewable energy developer and independent power producer is seeking a Director of Transmission Strategy to join its Utility-Scale Development team. This is a senior, strategic role for an experienced professional with a deep understanding of power system analysis, RTO/ISO planning processes, and interconnection strategy. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of directly related experience, strong technical modeling skills, and the ability to translate complex transmission and interconnection data into actionable commercial decisions. Experience within PJM, MISO, SPP, and ERCOT markets is strongly preferred, and prior work at an RTO/ISO is highly desirable. We are looking for a hands-on, collaborative leader who can work across technical, commercial, and regulatory functions, and who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment. Key Responsibilities • Lead development and execution of transmission and interconnection strategies for the company’s utility-scale renewable energy portfolio. • Develop deep expertise in RTO interconnection processes and build strong relationships with key technical stakeholders at RTOs/ISOs. • Monitor planned transmission expansions and conduct system analysis to inform market entry and development priorities. • Perform system modeling to evaluate queue scenarios and provide upgrade cost and timing estimates for development assets. • Conduct transmission and interconnection due diligence for potential M&A opportunities, including curtailment analysis, congestion assessment, and market fundamentals review. • Manage interconnection applications from submission through completion, coordinating closely with internal engineering teams and external consultants. • Provide insights on merchant price curves, market reforms, FERC orders, and other regulatory or market developments affecting project viability. • Optimize project designs for grid integration, ensuring compliance with technical and regulatory requirements. • Deliver market intelligence to guide portfolio strategy — identifying markets to enter, expand, or exit based on transmission, supply/demand, and commercial outlooks. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, power systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). • Strong background in reliability and economic/production cost studies for RTO systems. • Proficiency in system modeling tools, including PSS/E and TARA (experience with PSLF, PROMOD, GRIDVIEW, or UPLAN is a plus). • Familiarity with NERC Planning Standards and compliance requirements. • Ability to code in Python or similar programming languages preferred. • Deep knowledge of RTO planning processes, with experience in interconnection or market fundamentals. • Established relationships with ISO/RTO stakeholders and prior participation in stakeholder working groups a plus. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
