About the position Responsibilities • Coordinate the involvement of Central-Maryland-based training providers for the MWW project. • Develop program content and manage the Baltimore County GJC team. • Oversee fiscal management and reporting for Baltimore County's GJC grant allocation. • Supervise three support staff and collaborate with DEWD leadership and local officials. • Prepare status reports for DEWD Director and Maryland Department of Labor. • Manage communication with employers in the offshore wind industry. • Conduct quarterly meetings with MWW grant-funded training providers. • Manage program evaluation methods for Central Maryland activities. • Promote the MWW project to stakeholders outside the grant program. • Recruit job seekers and training candidates for the GJC initiative. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Management, Marketing, Finance, Communications, Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in managing budgets, staff, programs, grants, and operations. • Knowledge of workforce development theory and practice, including sector strategies and apprenticeships. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). • Fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred. Nice-to-haves • Experience with statistical software and analytical tools like Microsoft Power BI and GIS. • Strong organizational and data management skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and hybrid office environment.
