Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: • Laying out, measuring, positioning, aligning and fitting components together. • Assembling parts from blueprints. • Discussing errors in diagrams or production order with supervisor or engineer to clarify production problems. • Setting up equipment and welding parts with Mig and Tig. • Performing related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding. • Repairing products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts. • Finishing parts per blueprint, de-bur sharp edges. • Rolling tank sections from flat steel. • Welding tank sections together. • Ability to weld in all positions and ensuring weld quality. • Facilitating and/or performing corrective action if problems are noted in function or appearance.
