Solar Project Manager

Trillium Construction is now hiring a Solar Project Manager in Chattanooga, TN! Our client is a solar contractor specializing in DG solar, rooftop solar, and Battery Energy Storage. They are now hiring for a Project Manager who will work full time. This is a direct hire opportunity working remotely, but would be expected to travel to project sites about 50% of the time. The salary for this position is between $110K - $140K plus benefits like a company credit card for all business purposes, PTO, M/V/D, etc. Duties: -Lead and manage all phases of solar project development and execution, from inception through commissioning. -Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. -Coordinate with engineering, procurement, permitting, and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery. -Manage subcontractors, vendors, and external partners to ensure work is performed per specifications and on time. -Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. -Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and industry standards. -Oversee quality control, health, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. -Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, clients, and regulatory agencies. -Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and forecasts to management and clients. -Support contract negotiations, change order management, and project documentation Apply now! Qualifications: -3+ years of project management experience in the solar or renewable energy industry. -Proven track record managing solar PV projects (residential, commercial, or utility-scale). -Strong understanding of PV system design, permitting, interconnection, and construction processes. -Proficiency with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar tools). -Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. -Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
