About the Role The IE Manager will be responsible for optimizing factory operations to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs), including cost control, production capacity optimization, and energy efficiency. This role will focus on plant layout planning, process improvement initiatives, and capital investment projects to enhance overall operational efficiency. Duties/Responsibilities: • Develop and implement factory-wide industrial engineering strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize production capacity. • Lead factory layout planning, including production line design, material flow optimization, and space utilization. • Oversee the calculation and analysis of standard production capacity, cycle time, and labor efficiency. • Drive cost analysis initiatives in collaboration with the finance team to ensure cost targets are met. • Manage capital expenditure (CapEx) projects and lead major technological transformation initiatives to improve factory performance. • Develop and implement continuous improvement projects, applying lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity and reduce waste. • Provide leadership and mentorship to the Industrial Engineering team, ensuring effective training and development. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Maintenance, to drive process improvements and standardization. • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements related to industrial engineering activities.
