Our solar asset portfolio continues to increase at a near exponential rate, with a mixture of Owner developed and constructed sites and third-party sites contracted, or already under management. Our goal is to provide a more inclusive service capability, driving out the large expenses that are normally passed through to the owner. Origis is looking for a Lead Technician who provides proactive, visible operational leadership combining high levels of technical expertise with strong leadership attributes to build and sustain a high-performing team while maintaining a strong safety culture. Through their technical acumen and leadership experience, the Lead Technician ensures the site team operates at the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Additionally, the role supports any supervisors and regional leaders in fostering a culture of operational excellence. Key Behaviors As a field leader, the Lead Technician demonstrates technical excellence and consistently high standards in leading small site-based teams. They act as site-based role models for Origis Services' principles of Safety, Accountability, and Transparency. Key Responsibilities • Role Modeling Technical Capability: Consistently demonstrates the highest possible technical standards and is a role model for safety and quality and operational excellence. • Leadership Attributes: Consistently demonstrate high standards in personal leadership, communication, basic organizational skills, interpersonal behavior and the process of setting people to work. • Process Implementation: Ensure company methods, processes, and operational procedures are fully implemented and owned by the team. Proactively contribute to process development and improvement as necessary. • Team Development: Build organizational capability by implementing site-wide training and development programs using the company structure. Support talent rotation and succession planning as needed. Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Manage the Site Safety and Accident Prevention Programs. Conduct regular safety inspections and briefings. Ensure all personnel and third parties follow industry and company developed safety protocols and emergency procedures. • Act as the on-site technical & safety expert. • Provide training & mentorship for site technicians. • Operate and maintain the plant in compliance with established standards and procedures. • Troubleshoot system problems and resolve issues in a timely manner. • Apply technical skills to troubleshoot electrical components using equipment such as digital multi-meters, meggers, amp clamps, and IV curve tracers. • Perform daily mechanical and electrical inspections to ensure equipment operates safely and optimally. • Manage and support contractors and OEM vendors ensuring. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including work orders, time entries, and emergency response protocols. • Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and spare parts inventory usage. Ensure work orders are updated with all maintenance and parts consumption details. • Maintain inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels of equipment and materials. This includes spare parts usage, replenishment, and reporting. • Ensure high-quality control of tools, vehicles, and materials. • Pursue continuing education to meet safety and plant requirements. • Maintain site vegetation through routine mowing and spraying. • May be required to work outside of normal business hours as necessary. Maintain on-call rotation schedule Minimum Certifications • OSHA 30-Hour Training for General Industry • NFPA 70E – Workplace Electrical Safety • First Aid, CPR, AED Preferred Qualifications • Valid Driver's License REQUIRED • Inverter Specialist or Solar Technician with 3+ years' experience; Knowledgeable of renewable energy peculiarities; expertise in DC array technology • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to perform basic electrical calculations, read and interpret electrical schematics • Ability to manage priorities and workflow, working independently with minimal supervision • Ability to perform necessary physical activity, including lifting up to 80 Lbs. • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Job Level Supervisor Location Du Quoin, IL Hourly Rate $30-$50/hour Travel: Regional travel may occasionally be required to support various site demands We currently have sites in Texas, Tennessee, New Mexico, Florida, Mississippi, Alabama, Illinois and Missouri. Senior Construction Superintendent

What we’re looking for: Nexamp is looking to hire a Senior Construction Superintendent. The role is a critical leadership position empowered to make independent decisions that directly impact the safety, performance, and operational success of a portfolio of solar construction projects. The Senior Construction Superintendent (SCS) serves as a critical decision-maker in matters of jobsite compliance, team deployment, subcontractor performance, and adherence to construction standards and policies. You will be field based but will be required to be in the region that you are supporting, which is Southern Illinois. You will report to the Construction Manager. What you’ll do: • Directly supervises 3–12 contingent Construction Superintendents (CS) across active solar project sites, in coordination with Agency Partners. Assigns site leadership roles, monitors CS performance, and provides coaching and feedback. • Exercise discretion in identifying and responding to safety, quality, and compliance issues. Empowered to stop work, redirect resources, or mandate changes without prior approval. • Evaluate the performance of subcontractors in the field and provide recommendations that directly inform contract renewal, termination, or future engagement decisions. These evaluations materially affect vendor relationships and project outcomes. • Interpret and enforce company policies and OSHA, SWPPP, and site-specific standards in dynamic field conditions. • Lead the onboarding and ongoing training of site-level superintendents and field personnel. • Work with the Construction Manager on staffing strategy, including hiring, reassignment, and termination decisions for contingent CS roles. • Monitor project progress and risks; recommend changes to staffing, scheduling, or scope to meet objectives. • Hold final responsibility for review and close out compliance documentation, QA/QC reports, and inspection logs within Procore or other systems of record. • Serve as a subject matter expert on solar construction methods, compliance, and site logistics. • Advise senior leadership on operational performance, training standards, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Represent company interests with subcontractors, vendors, and on-site stakeholders. What you’ll bring: • 3-5 years of construction management experience, preferably in the solar industry, with a successful track record in project management • Exceptional oral and written communication skills. • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, and various other construction management tools. • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards; OSHA 10 is a minimum requirement. • Maintains professional licenses in trade (i.e. CSL, NABCEP PV, etc.) • Procore experience is a plus. • Understanding of medium voltage systems and equipment a plus. • Eye for detail and ability to communicate clearly. • Willingness to travel. • Valid and current Driver’s License. • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today. • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization. • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
