This is an excellent opportunity to learn the sheet metal trade while working alongside highly skilled mechanics on commercial construction and HVAC installations. What You’ll Do • Sheet Metal Installation: Assist with installing, modifying, and repairing sheet metal products, commercial ductwork, hoods, and ventilation components. • Fabrication & Assembly: Help assemble, insulate, solder, bolt, and secure ductwork according to drawings and specifications. • Quality & Inspection: Support testing and inspection of completed installations to ensure accuracy and workmanship standards. • Tools & Materials: Prepare and stage tools, materials, and equipment needed for daily work. • Job Site Organization: Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and ensure vehicles remain stocked. • Cross-Trade Support: Work closely with HVAC installers, mechanics, and other trades to support project workflows. • Safety & Compliance: Follow all OSHA regulations, jobsite safety requirements, and company policies. • Documentation: Complete basic paperwork, logs, or reports as required. • Communication: Work professionally with supervisors, team members, and customers.
