Key Responsibilities: • Install, fabricate, and assemble sheet metal ductwork and components for HVAC systems according to blueprints and specifications. • Measure, cut, and shape sheet metal to fit specific dimensions and layouts using hand and power tools. • Secure ductwork and fittings to support the proper function of HVAC systems. • Install grills, diffusers, dampers, and other HVAC components. • Work with other trades, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure the proper coordination and installation of HVAC systems. • Ensure that installations meet building codes, company standards, and safety requirements. • Perform system tests to ensure proper airflow and system operation. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper handling and storage of tools and materials. • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to ductwork or system components as necessary to resolve issues. • Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Minimum Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to pass a drug screening. • Dependable transportation to and from the company location. • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime as required. • Ability to follow instructions in English.
