**Hiring Sheet Metal Mechanics for New Construction Projects** Job Description We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our dynamic team for a commercial construction project. Responsibilities + Install, assemble, and repair sheet metal components in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and project requirements. + Fabricate, measure, cut, and shape sheet metal using appropriate tools and techniques. + Ensure quality and accuracy in all installations, including HVAC ducts, flashing, and other metal components. + Operate scissor lifts and other construction equipment safely and efficiently. + Adhere to OSHA safety standards and company policies to maintain a safe working environment. + Collaborate with other trades and team members to meet project deadlines and ensure worksite efficiency. + Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Essential Skills + Sheet metal installation and fabrication experience. + HVAC duct installation and repair knowledge. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals. + Proficiency with hand and power tools used in sheet metal work. + Valid OSHA 10 Certification (preferred). + Scissor Lift Certification (preferred). + Strong attention to detail and quality assurance.
