Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Specialist with Experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication and Manufacturing. This role is essential in ensuring that our manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success of our production goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of manufacturing operations, quality control, and safety protocols. Duties • Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to production schedules. • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying any issues that may affect production quality or efficiency. • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production problems and implement effective solutions. • Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels, downtime, and equipment maintenance. • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees. • Assist in training new staff on manufacturing processes and best practices. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing productivity and reducing waste. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in manufacturing processes is a plus. • Previous experience Operating Amada Turret Punch Presses as well as experience Setting Up and Operating various Break Press machines. • Ability to Program Amada controls is a Plus. • Strong dedication to production of Quality Parts • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed to meet production demands. • Ability to follow instructions; verbal and written • Ability to work under tight time restrictions and meet deadlines • Good attention to detail • Motivated individual with good common sense, quick learning skills and mechanical aptitude • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and able to lift 50 pounds.
