HVAC Sheet Metal Fabricator / Duct Installer Feldkamp Enterprises, Inc, a Marsden Holding Company is a Non-Union Mechanical Contractor in need of HVAC Sheetmetal Duct Installers. We are looking to hire Helper through Journeyman level team members with 0 - 5+ years of experience. Location: Greater Cincinnati Tri-State area and Dayton area. Under the supervision of a Field Foreman, the HVAC Sheetmetal Installer is responsible for the prepping for, and installation of pre-fabricated commercial HVAC ductwork. Qualifications: • Ability to lay out, prep jobsite and install pre-fabricated ductwork • Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings to determine location of HVAC ductwork placement • Assemble HVAC ductwork pieces for installation at the jobsite as necessary • Place hangers and supports for HVAC duct Work Schedule and Benefits: • Full-time, non-exempt, 40 hours/week (overtime may be required during heavy season) • Start times vary by location. See More Details >>About the position Responsibilities • Operate press brake machines to fabricate sheet metal components. • Read and interpret blueprints for accurate fabrication. • Perform setups and create programs for press brake operations. • Utilize measuring equipment such as calipers and protractors for quality inspection. • Maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process. • Assist in training new operators as needed. Requirements • US Citizenship required. • Minimum of 3 years of experience operating press brakes preferred. • Forklift Certification is required. • Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of sheet metal fabrication. • Excellent math skills for measurements and calculations. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Nice-to-haves • Experience with water jet, lasers, and punch press is helpful but not required. • Familiarity with Cincinnati and Accupress Brakes is preferred. The Project Manager role plans, directs, manages and provides oversight of assigned design and construction projects to ensure that the Company’s goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed schedule and budget parameters. Successfully communicates with clients, field staff, estimating team, contractors and management. Provides internal and external coordination and collaboration with project partners and key stakeholders. Core Responsibilities • Partner with Estimation team to review project budgets, production timelines, manpower requirements, General Contractor contacts, provided drawings and specifications, material and equipment requirements, etc., to ensure all details align with the estimate and are accurate for the project. • Provide feedback on any discrepancies between initial budgets and materials to ensure all aspects of the job are outlined by the estimate and specifications. • Coordinate with Drafting department on any/all drawing requirements. • Facilitate assigning staff to each jobsite as required by production and job specifications. • Coordinate purchasing of materials, reviewing weekly job costs and productive hours, ensure appropriate communication regarding project timelines, known issues, changes to scope of work or projected timelines, reviewing of other sub-contractors onsite which directly affect jobsite production and deadlines. • Attend weekly Operations Meeting to address job costs, % of completion for each project and phase, review and ensure tracking forms are accurate, update on any change orders and T&M Tickets received or completed, anticipated labor to finish the job, discuss any current or potential problem areas. • Communicate via email, phone or in-person with General Contractors, Sub-Contractors and Vendors as required. • Document all aspects of the project and jobsites via ProCore, email and official letterhead as required for any know issues, meeting notes and agendas, scope of work changes (change orders, T&M Tickets, etc.,). • Update President and Head Estimator on any known issues with the project which requires additional deadline requests, material or equipment delays or costs, potential for damages, letters that have been sent with updates to General Contractors, lawyer involvement, etc... • Provide leadership and any required direction or training to Foreman as needed to develop talent and skills.
