Job Description: Works from blueprints, work orders, and verbal instructions to produce high quality welds from a variety of exotic metals. May program, set up and operate robotic welding machines. Responsibilities: • Welds metal components to fabricate products, parts or equipment. • Repairs products of parts by straightening or reshaping with or without the use of heat and/or hydraulic equipment. • Achieve or surpass routed standards. • Calculate side lengths and/or angles using trigonometric charts and tables. • Figure flat layout, setup and operate various equipment to form sheet, plate and structural shapes to produce properly sized material. Qualifications: • 3-5 years experience in MIG & TIG welding of carbon steel, stainless, Inconel and aluminum. • Ability to run basic fabrication equipment (shear, cut-off saw, etc.). • Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols. • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent. • Experience with robotic weld machines is a plus.
