We are looking to fill multiple positions on this crew requiring varying levels of related knowledge: from general labor to pipe-fitter, to equipment operator. Excavation may be accomplished using backhoe, mini-excavator or by utilizing hand tools. Knowledge of piping and associated fittings and water meters is essential. Complete routine and emergency work orders. Performs preventive maintenance, as assigned. Examples of Duties Under general supervision, this position provides routine maintenance, and performs the following duties: - 75% • Service and maintain electric motors, shaft bearings, and gear reducers. • Lube or oil gears, spindles, belts, blowers, and filters. • Clean heating and cooling coils, cooling tower basins, and air intake grills.
