As a Plumber Apprentice, you will support commercial and industrial construction projects by installing plumbing systems and related materials. Job Duties • Assists with commercial and industrial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on large scale construction projects such as healthcare, government, educations, manufacturing and others • Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation for water, gas, compressed air, medical gas and/or other liquids • Regular use of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure • Assist with the installation of materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping • Duties could include assisting with setting grease traps, decontamination tanks, oil interceptors, lint interceptors, utility hookups, etc. • Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned Requirements • 1 or more years of experience of commercial plumbing experience preferred • Current/valid apprentice license in applicable state • Willingness to learn to read blueprints and shop drawings • Knowledge of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure • OSHA 10 certification preferred (company will provide if needed) • Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to perform routine measurements and calculations. See More Details >>The Commercial “New” Construction Plumbing Superintendent position is responsible for overseeing multiple commercial plumbing construction projects and will be managing project needs including but not limited to materials, personnel, schedules and communication with project management team, customers and building officials.
