The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring accurate cost assessments and effective project management. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, pricing strategies, and cost control measures to deliver high-quality results on time and within budget. Experience • 5+ years working in commercial plumbing. • At least 2 years doing takeoffs, bids, or estimating work. • Can read blueprints and job specs without any trouble. • Proven experience in construction estimating or a related field is essential. • Knows plumbing codes and what’s required on big commercial jobs. • Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices. • Can use computers and software to help with estimating (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or something similar). Nice to Have: • Journeyman or Master Plumber license. • Experience working on schools, hospitals, or big box stores. • Knows how to work with HVAC, fire sprinkler, and other trades. • Used Procore or other job-tracking programs.
