Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber to join our dynamic construction and maintenance team. As a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across a variety of residential projects. Responsibilities • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances, adhering to blueprints, schematics, and building codes. • Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute plumbing layouts. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs. • Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for construction site work, remodeling, and maintenance projects. • Conduct field service tasks, troubleshooting issues on-site and providing effective solutions promptly. • Collaborate with construction teams, carpenters, HVAC technicians, and other trades to ensure seamless project execution. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. • Assist with remodeling, assembly, and general maintenance person tasks as needed to support project completion. • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate installation and repair of plumbing and mechanical systems. • Perform basic math calculations for measurements, material estimates, and system layouts. • Support HVAC system installations and maintenance when required, leveraging mechanical knowledge. • Operate a variety of construction and plumbing tools, including pipe cutters, threading machines, and welding equipment. • Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed. Requirements • Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, and mechanical systems. • Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and building regulations. • Experience with pipe threading, and schematic reading. • Ability to work confidently with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. • Construction site experience, including remodeling, maintenance, and new installations. • Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of HVAC systems and schematics. • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations. • Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces. • Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred. • Maintenance Person experience, carpentry skills, and familiarity with construction schematics are a plus. • Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
