Plumbers Helper

As a Plumber’s Helper, you will support residential and commercial plumbing projects by installing plumbing systems and related materials. Job Duties: • Assists with residential and commercial plumbing installation from underground/rough-ins, stack out to trim outs on small and large scale projects and repairs • Install hangers and supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures • Regular use of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure • Assist with the installation of materials such as copper, steel, cast iron, PVC, CPVC, PEX, and other piping • Able to work off ladders, man lifts and other equipment from various heights • Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned Requirements: • 1 or more years of experience of plumbing experience preferred but not required • Current/valid driver’s license in applicable state • Knowledge of basic hand tools and ability to read a tape measure • High school diploma or GED preferred • Basic math skills to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division to perform routine measurements and calculations. Ability to work with fractions, percentages, and decimals Additional Requirements: • Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitude • Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter • Complies and promotes company Safety Policy • Requires basic mechanical aptitude and English language skills • Analytical and problem-solving skills • Regular and punctual attendance.
