Apprentice Plumber Summary: Repair, maintain, and install all plumbing systems in all City owned and operated buildings in a safe and efficient method. Available for 24-hour call. Additional duties as directed by Building Services Supervisor. Minimum Qualifications: Education, Training and Experience Guidelines: High School Diploma or GED required; AND two years' experience in installation and maintenance of plumbing required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Ability to read and write English all applicable blueprints, schematics, diagrams, signs, labels, directions, reports, equipment manuals, etc. • Ability to communicate ideas, instructions, questions, problems etc. • Skills in the use of all standard plumbing tools and equipment. • Knowledge of the hazards and safety precautions of the work.
