Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing and construction, with the ability to work on various projects, including residential and commercial installations. Duties • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures in accordance with local codes and regulations. • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine plumbing installation requirements. • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment for various plumbing tasks. • Perform pipe threading and assembly of plumbing components as needed. • Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues or potential hazards. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Execute heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites. • Assist with HVAC installations and repairs as required. • Provide maintenance person services for remodeling projects when necessary. Skills • Proven experience in construction plumbing with a solid understanding of plumbing systems. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment relevant to plumbing tasks. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively. • Familiarity with pipe threading techniques and basic math skills for measurements and calculations. • Experience reading blueprints and schematics for accurate installations. • Ability to perform carpentry tasks related to plumbing installations or repairs. • Previous experience on construction sites is preferred, demonstrating an understanding of site safety practices. • A valid commercial driving license is a plus for transporting materials or equipment as needed. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
