This role involves working on various projects, including installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise in reading schematics and have hands-on experience in field service. Must have your own tools. • Duties • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and boilers. • Perform plumbing tasks such as pipe installation, fixture repairs, and drainage solutions. • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment. • Conduct routine maintenance checks on HVAC / R systems to ensure optimal performance. • Work with ammonia refrigeration systems as required. • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper HVAC design integration into new builds. • Provide excellent customer service during field service visits and communicate effectively with clients regarding repairs and maintenance needs. • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used on each job. • Adhere to safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe working environment. • Experience • Proven experience as an HVAC technician or plumber with a strong understanding of mechanical knowledge. • Familiarity with construction processes and property maintenance practices is preferred. • Experience in appliance repair and equipment repair is a plus. • Proficient in reading schematics related to HVAC design and plumbing layouts. • Previous field service experience is highly desirable. • Welding skills are advantageous for certain repair tasks. • A valid driver's license is required for travel between job sites.
