Duties/Responsibilities • Install, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing systems and other equipment as necessary. • Provide technical assistance with the design of systems including installations and modifications to existing systems. • Complete preventive maintenance of systems and maintenance services as directed. • Prepare, record and report describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions. • Knowledge of pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures and safety regulations sufficient to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law. • Follow safety rules/procedures; avoid known hazards in the work environment. • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding project details and timelines. • Provide training for plumbers helpers/apprentices. • All other duties as assigned. Requirements • Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry. • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely. • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management skills with the ability to work independently. • Proficient in basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to plumbing tasks. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to function in a high paced environment. • Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with clients and team members. Physical Requirements • Able to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb ladders use hands to finger, handle or fell and reach with hands and arms, bend and kneel for periods of time. • Must be able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including electronic and diagnostic tools, and other plumbing equipment. • Ability to focus and to differentiate between colors and shades of color. • Must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently. Service Plumber Job Summary The Service Plumber will diagnose, repair, and install our customer’s plumbing systems as well as lead customers to informed and confident buying decisions.
