Competitive/negotiable pay & benefits based on skill, experience, and performance. • FLEXIBLE schedule • 20 hours++ per week up to full-time (determined by ability and skill set) {JOB DESCRIPTION} Laborer for Excavation & Repair • carrying 5-gallon buckets full of repair debris • hand digging • watching trenches • moving equipment and vehicles • assisting with sewer & drain installation and repair • work with skilled cooperation in the trench with the equipment operator/owner) Sewer & Drain Service Call Technician • delivering tools • keeping work space & equipment storage tidy and organized • taking fast-paced direction and initiative as needed • learning operations with specialty drain cleaning tools & equipment • job preparation/maintenance tasks at shop and work sites {ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & QUALIFICATIONS} The preferred candidate will have experience OR willingness to be trained to perform tasks involving fast-paced physical labor including, but not limited to: • Clean or prepare construction or service sites to eliminate possible hazards • Lubricate, clean, or repair machinery, equipment, or tools • Load, unload, or identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations • Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials • Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed • Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, or compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, or rakes • Operate jackhammers or drills to break up concrete or pavement • Assist in the installation of sewer, water, or storm drain pipes • Operate specialized drain snaking, hydrojetting, and camera equipment • Move commercial vehicles and trailers between sites • Clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials • Ability to lift/carry more than 50 pounds • Must have valid Driver's License {ADDITIONAL INFORMATION} Excellent opportunity for: • hard worker with interest in learning an essential & in-demand service • experienced ditch laborer or plumbing technician • landscape or construction laborer needing seasonal work or change of pace • recent high school or trade school graduate seeking trade experience Starting compensation will be determined by your skill set.
