It will be a condition of employment that all employees are expected to work safely and contribute to the safety of others • Excavate soil to access plumbing apparatus. • Diagnose plumbing system performance through observation, testing and setup. • Disassemble and reassemble plumbing equipment to perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance. • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges and measuring equipment to perform service to the equipment and/or mechanical system. • Complete work orders, task lists and documents to verify work performed. • Responds to, diagnoses, and resolves plumbing emergencies. • Keeps accurate records of time spent working, description of work performed, and material used. • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools used in the plumbing trade and operates them safely. • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and safety practices. • Familiarity with PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron and copper. • This individual must possess the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization; as well as, external vendors, business contacts, existing customers, and potential customers. • Demonstrates and promotes a spirit of cooperation and teamwork throughout the company. • Continually looks for ways to improve our processes and ability to serve our customers effectively. • Continually strives to improve personal performance. Qualifications/Experience: • Arkansas State Journeyman Plumbing License required. • 1-3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber. • High School Diploma or GED. • Must possess valid driver’s license and clean driving record. • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. • Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills. • Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude. • Ability to read blueprints and schematics. • Must be detail-oriented and organized. • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Benefits Include: • Competitive pay. • Here at ASC, each pay period for payroll is the duration of 1 week. It begins on Wednesday and goes through the following Tuesday. All hourly positions here at ASC will be eligible for overtime, which includes any hours worked over 40 hours within the same weekly pay period.
