Job Profile The company is looking for a Mechanic with pipefitter skills to join its team for various manufacturing needs. Educational Qualification • The applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED Work Experience • The candidates should have 3 years status of millwright or pipefitter with other industrial maintenance mechanic skills. Duties/Responsibilities • Possess skills like piping layout, mechanical layout, mechanical troubleshooting, repair and fabrication, machine alignment, and hydraulics Preferred Requirements- • Operate or work in industrial conditions (i.e. warm/hot, dusty/dirty, around hazardous chemicals, noise heavy machinery, or elevated surfaces with proper safety training and safety protection) • Pre-employment background check, drug screen, entrance test, and board interview • Submit to random drug screens as a condition of employment • Wear required personal protective equipment • Work any shift and/or rotating shift schedule and overtime as required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • Able to function in a team environment • Basic computer skills Benefits/Perks • The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including paid vacation, paid holidays, floating holidays, and paid sick leave as well as a 4-10 work schedule. Job Title: Journeyman J-1 (Pipefitter) Position Title: Journeyman Mechanic Pipefitter Pay Rate: $41.58 (pays up to $46.55 depending on shift and qualifications) Work Schedule: 4-10’s Shift options: Monday – Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm; Tuesday – Friday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm. Candidates must possess a minimum of 4 years’ status as a pipefitter/pipe welding with other industrial maintenance mechanic skills. Preferred skills include piping layout, mechanical layout, repair and fabrication, and an understanding of basic hydraulics. We are looking for motivated individuals who can function in a flexible, fast paced production environment with a focus on safety. Job Requirements • Four years’ status of pipefitter or millwright • Pipe welding • Other industrial maintenance mechanic skills • Basic computer skills • Must possess high standards in safety, quality, ethics, craftsmanship, customer focus, and leadership skills • Able to function in a team environment Must be willing to meet the following requirements • Pre-employment computer-based testing, panel interview and hands on assessment • Provide Proof of original High School Diploma or equivalent • Pre-employment background check, drug test and health assessment • Submit to random drug screens as a condition of employment • 4-10 work schedule unless required to cover a shift position • Work overtime when required and sometimes on short notice • Wear ALL required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to training • Company provides all safety equipment.
