Pipe Fitter job at ARK Systems. Salisbury, MD. Job Description Job Description PROFILE: We are actively searching for a Sprinkler Technician to join our Sprinkler Service Department. Duties/Responsibilities: • Read schematics and determine what materials you need for each project • Cut and assemble pipe systems • Install sprinkler systems and inspect them for fire code violations • Perform sprinkler repair and maintenance • Log all repairs and maintenance and report major issues Knowledge Skills/Abilities: • 1-3 years of sprinkler service experience preferred, but not required • Experience using power and hand tools • Positive customer relations experience and skills. • Good communication skills • Must have a positive and respectful attitude and maintain good working relationships with management staff and employees. • Must maintain good driving record (insurable through our insurance carrier) for driving to/from job sites. • Willingness to achieve various certifications of the industry. Education and Experience: • 1-3 years’ experience within the sprinkler industry preferred, but not required • Familiar with wet and dry systems • Valid driver’s license • Able to obtain Maryland and Virginia security technician license as required. Paid for by ARK.
