Our manufacturing facility, located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania, produces value added fruit and dairy preparations for a variety of customers including yogurt, ice cream and bakery manufacturers. In this position you will be responsible for, but not limited to fabrication, assembling, and installation of sanitary piping on industrial equipment using welders, cutters, shapers, and measuring tools. The position is for 1st shift 8am - 4pm Duties & Responsibilities: • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine piping requirements. • Can read and work with detailed drawings to fabricate pipes and tanks to a high degree of precision. • Select type and size of pipe required. Calculate, measure, cut pipe to required shape using hand and power tools. • Attention to detail and must be able to perform stainless steel welding functions at an acceptable standard level. • Fabrication and installation of various piping and tanks for equipment. • Layout, position, align, and secure pipes and tanks prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers and rulers. • Knowledge of material sizes and stainless-steel specification of the product being worked on. Skills • Must be capable of working under minimum supervision. • Must work well with others. • Can effectively communicate in both technical and user-friendly language, with all staff. • Lead by example by demonstrating the importance of fostering a safe culture Job Requirements • Current or previous CWB certifications in TIG welding - stainless preferred. • Experience in sanitary welding /fitting and equipment installation. • 5 - 10 years' experience as a sanitary TIG welder. • 5 or more years' experience finishing stainless steel. • Food and beverage equipment manufacturing is desired. Physical Requirements • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools. • Ability to lift 50 lbs., stand for extended periods and work under various temperature conditions. Journeyman Plumber/Pipefitter/Owner

• **Must be licensed and insured***. • Digging and grading trenches to place pipe in. • Laying sections of pipe and completing connections between pipe sections. • Completing welds on sections of metal pipe where metal piping is specified. • Operating heavy equipment to dig trenches for laying piping. Also using heavy equipment to place sections of piping. • Making connections to lines including sewer lines, water lines and storm sewers. Skills Required • Welding – specifically if laying metal piping requiring welded joints. • Ability to operate heavy equipment to remove and replace soils and earth. • Determine grade of trenching using tools including lasers and transit levels. • Operate cutting equipment to cut various types of piping materials. • Operate small powered equipment including tampers. • Cut, fit and seal various types of piping. • Ability to communicate effectively with crew members including the written and spoken word. • Ability to think logically about work at hand and compare site conditions with project designs. • Ability to read blueprints and other project related documents. PIPEFITTER LEADER

You will serve as a PIPEFITTER LEADER in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY to include work sites of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Facility Bangor, and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
