About the job: Kent is looking for Pipe Fitters to be based in Port Arthur, TX. Skills and Responsibilities: Responsibilities: • Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team. • Fabricate piping via various methods including cutting, threading, roll groove and bevelling of prespooled and stick built piping to blueprints, drawings, and specifications, ensuring they fit together seamlessly. • Assemble and install various fixtures, such as valves, fittings, and hangers/pipe supports, to ensure proper functionality of the piping system. • Follow quality control systems and techniques. • Interpret engineering and detailed fabrication drawings, specifications and standards to complete tasks accurately. • Ability to mark out and measure accurately. • Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers. • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. • Maintain and care for equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition. • Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, QA/QC inspectors, and construction management team, to achieve project goals and timelines. • Keep detailed records of work performed including, Flange Management & Fit up tags, Workpacks and Weld maps. • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge. In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development. Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience: Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification: • Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, CrMo and Inconel materials. • Experience in large and small bore piping. • Be able to read and understand Isometric and P&ID Drawings. • Experience working in a greenfield or live brownfield’s environment in Oil Refineries / Petro-chemical / Power Stations / LNG, preferred. • Experience working within LOTO and Permit to Work systems. • Flange Integrity/Management experience preferred. • Hydrotesting experience preferred. Communication: • Excellent command of the English language in both oral and written communication and skills. Behavior/ Core Competencies: • Able to work above ground on scaffolds and platforms and from personnel baskets and man lifts. • Climb ladders and stairs when climbing scaffolding, columns, vessels and tanks. • Function under varying temperatures and weather conditions. HSSEQ: The Employee shall observe the Health, Safety, Sustainability, Environment and Quality rules of the Company; it’s clients and the governing authorities of the host country. Pipefitter Helper

1.Communicates with Pipefitters and others to perform the job tasks. 2. Manipulates and generally understands the use of different types of power and manual pipefitting layout and construction tools 3. Assists with installation, maintenance and testing of process piping and utility systems. 4. Cuts, grinds and assembles pipes, using hacksaw, pipe cutters, hammer and wedge, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine. 5. Threads pipe using a threading machine. 6. Mounts pipe hangers and supports from structural steel to hold pipe. 7. May assist in lifting, positioning, and securing of materials and work pieces during installation. 12. Cleans and performs maintenance activities on tools and equipment. 13. Must be able to climb vertical ladders and work above ground as necessary. 16. Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools. 17.
