OVERVIEW: Job Title: Pipe Fitter Rotational Schedule: On Call Crew Change Location: Variable across Gulf Coast PES Expectations: A successful candidate will exhibit characteristics that support the following: Safety Awareness Work Ethic Technical Skill Customer Focus Open Communication Implementing Vision and Values RESPONSIBILITIES: A member of the construction team reporting to Danos Superintendent. Lay out, position, align and secure parts for welding and bolt-up. Measure, mark, cut, bore, fit and/or install various piping/structural components in accordance with blueprints and job specifications using hand and power tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders/benders, etc. Follow fitting procedures and principles used in fabrication of offshore jackets, decks, heliports, and production facilities Participate in JSA’s and all other Safety, Health and Environmental Processes. Conduct behavioral based safety observations. QUALIFICATIONS: 3 or more years prior pipe fitting and offshore experience TWIC Recent Offshore Construction experience Must be able to interpret ISO’s and P&ID’s Must be able to cut with a torch Prior rigger experience preferred Experience using safe work habits Candidates will be required to pass: Written Rigger Assessment Written Fitter & ISO Assessment Hands-on Fitter test

See More Details >>Pipefitter This person will be able to lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports, and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling, and industrial production and processing systems. Other duties may be assigned. Specific Duties and Responsibilities • Cut, thread, and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, and pipe threaders and benders. • Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clamps, tools or welding equipment. • Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. • Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. • Select pipe sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications. • Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools. • Install automatic controls used to regulate pipe systems. • Turn valves to shut off steam, water, or other gases or liquids from pipe sections, using valve keys or wrenches. • Remove and replace worn components. • Inspect work sites for obstructions and to ensure that holes will not cause structural weakness. • Operate motorized pumps to remove water from flooded manholes, basements, or facility floors. • Dip nonferrous piping materials in a mixture of molten tin and lead to obtain a coating that prevents erosion or galvanic and electrolytic action. • Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required For This Position Education - no minimum education requirements.
