Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and pipefitting practices. This role involves working on construction sites, manufacturing facilities, and maintenance projects, ensuring that all piping systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards. The Pipefitter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints and schematics, using hand tools and power tools, and adhering to ASME codes and standards. Duties • Assemble and maintain piping systems for water purification applications • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings • Perform Pvc/CPVC/MIG welding, FCAW, TIG welding, soldering, and pipe threading as required • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair existing piping systems • Employ basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting • Use hand tools such as calipers and power tools for cutting, bending, and assembling pipes • Ensure compliance with safety regulations while working on construction sites • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently • Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems Experience • Proven experience in pipefitting or a related field such as construction or manufacturing • Familiarity with rigging techniques and practices is preferred • Experience with fire sprinkler fitting is a plus • Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to piping systems • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship If you are passionate about pipefitting and possess the necessary skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
