Pipefitters needed - Full-time / Part-time

UNITED TRADES OF AMERICA is seeking skilled pipefitters to join our team. Responsibilities: • Cut, bend and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel to specifications • Install piping or tubing segments securely welding or other equipment • Must HAVE Victaulic Pipe, Screw Pipe and Pro-Press Experience • Perform trial runs, test, pipe systems to ensure optimal performance • Repair and reinforce broken, cracked, or inadequate systems or pipes • Review blueprints and building codes to determine optimal work procedures • Maintain and repair septic and commercial sewer systems • Install plumbing lines in accordance to specifications and as needed Pay range is based upon experience Must be willing to submit to a background and drug screen if required. Must have valid drivers license and dependable transportation. Pipefitter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

This position is located in the Plumbing Shop of the Facilities and Engineering Service at the Wilmington VA Medical Center and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The Pipefitter works from building plans, blueprints, and sketches to plan and layout the routing, pitch, elevation, pressure reduction, expansion, and operation of various piping systems and equipment.
