See More Details >>About the position Responsibilities • Repair and maintain heating, cooling, and gas piping systems such as steam plant and building heat systems, hospital medical piped gas systems, building cooling water systems, and kitchen gas oven or refrigeration systems. • Inspect work sites to determine repairs needed, methods of repair, supplies, and tools required. • Lay out, fabricate, and assemble piping and fixtures as required. • Transport materials, tools, and equipment to the work site and install and/or repair piping systems. • Install heating, cooling, and gas piping systems for new systems and small remodeling projects. • Maintain, repair, and calibrate heating and cooling systems' controls. • Perform related duties as assigned. Requirements • Certificate of completion of Pipetrade apprenticeship under a registered Bureau of Apprenticeship and Training program. • Minimum of five (5) years of actual work in the trade, which may include apprenticeship and/or applicable vocational training.
