The shift is Monday-Thursday from 6:15 AM to 4:45 PM. Ideal candidates should have experience with running water and air lines, bending, pipe welding, fabrication, working from a lift, using forklifts, moving equipment, and rigging. Main Responsibilities: Performing maintenance tasks to fix and prevent issues in machinery, including identifying the root cause of problems, replacing defective parts, and testing device performance. Sourcing and obtaining necessary parts, supplies, and repair items. Independently carrying out maintenance tasks according to industry standards. Operating various machining tools, such as lathes and drills, to make and repair parts. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workplace. Contributing to continuous improvement activities and cost savings initiatives. Keeping records and reviewing maintenance history. Troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and configuration problems in control systems. Using predictive maintenance technologies to collect data on equipment performance. Assisting and providing guidance to lower-level technicians and small teams. Participating in on-the-job and self-study programs for career development. Following all safety regulations and guidelines, and identifying unsafe behaviors and conditions. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree with a technical focus and 3 years of related experience, or 5 years of related experience in general industry, or completion of the ATS Technician Progression Program. Understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power, and control systems. Ability to use basic and specialized tools. Possible travel may be required. Physical Demands and Working Conditions: The job requires standing, walking, using hands/fingers, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crawling, and talking/listening. Occasional lifting and/or moving of heavy objects. Close and color vision necessary. Possible exposure to outside weather conditions and electrical shock. Work is typically carried out in a factory environment, which can be very noisy and may have hazardous materials and slippery floors.
