As a Division Manager for Repairs & Masonry, you will play a critical role in overseeing and leading all aspects of the Repairs & Masonry division within our company. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of skilled professionals, ensuring the successful execution of masonry projects from inception to completion. You will be instrumental in maintaining the division's growth and profitability while upholding the company's reputation for excellence in home solutions. Duties and Responsibilities: • Ensure budgets and goals are met by working with General Manager (GM) to oversee and ensure the Repairs and Masonry division is adhering to Bone Dry policies and procedures • Responsible for the hiring, training, retention, evaluation, and development of all employees. Assist GM with assessing the need for additional staffing, as well as the hiring, training, retention, evaluation, review, transferring, supervision, discipline and termination of employees • Prepare budgets and goals for their market • Manage work flow and expenses to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability • Assist the accounting department to manage collections and ensure collections procedures are being followed • Work with the GM to establish procedures and operations manuals to ensure the highest level of customer service • Responsible for ensuring employees follow the procedures outlined in the operations manuals • Continually assess the business climate, sales and production backlogs, inventory and staffing. Special Construction - Mason

JOB TITLE: Special Construction - Mason DEPARTMENT: Facilities Management REPORTS TO: Manager, Special Construction & Metals CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt POSITION TYPE: Full-Time SUMMARY: The Special Construction Mason will perform all aspects, masonry and concrete work throughout the Saint Louis Zoo. As an active member of Facilities Management, this position will support the Zoo’s mission and advocate the Zoo’s core values and three keys. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects Management’s definition of essential functions for this position but does not restrict additional assigned tasks. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this position. • Perform masonry and concrete work such as the building, altering and repairing of brick, limestone, CMU, terra cotta, structures or surfaces, shotcrete, foundations, footings, and flatwork. • Utilize the CMMS work order system for work scheduling, preventative maintenance programs and record keeping. • Ensure that proper safety guidelines and usage of PPE are followed at all times. • Know and understand the Zoo employee handbook and adhere to all stated disciplinary actions and personnel policies. • Work in close collaboration with all Zoo internal departments. • Perform other duties as assigned. • The Mason will work closely with a team that fabricates and repairs animal enrichment tools, exhibit structures and themed artificial elements such as trees, vines and rocks using a variety of materials such as concrete, mortar, fiberglass, and epoxy. It is required that applicants be open to learning how to apply their existing skillset to the environmental theming found throughout the Zoo. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Supervision of other employees is not a responsibility of this position. QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum three years of experience in a related field required. • Carpentry experience preferred. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and other technical documents. • Possession or the ability to obtain OSHA 10/30-Hour Training certification. • Commitment to excellence and high standards. • Good attendance record and work ethic. • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. • Possession or the ability to obtain a Missouri Class E Driver’s License is required for residents of Missouri. • All successful candidates for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check and a drug test. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Must be able to push, pull, bend, squat, stoop, climb stairs or ladders, and twist many times a day. • Must be able to safely lift, carry and load 75 pounds. • Physical capacity to endure exposure to inclement weather, dust, potentially dangerous and unpredictable animal species, potentially dangerous machinery, restraint devices and hazardous chemicals.
