Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our construction team. Duties • Assist in the installation of various construction materials, including drywall and concrete forms. • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate project execution. • Perform plastering tasks and caulking as needed for finishing work. • Operate power tools safely and effectively for various construction tasks. • Support roofing activities by preparing materials and assisting skilled tradespeople. • Participate in construction estimating processes by providing input on material needs and project timelines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while meeting quality standards. Qualifications • Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not required. • Familiarity with blueprint reading, installation techniques, and schematics is a plus. • Basic knowledge of plastering, roofing, concrete forming, caulking, drywall installation, and power tools is advantageous. • Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as required. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment. • A commitment to safety practices on the job site is essential.
