Amenity center Construction Manager - Dallas, TX

Southern Impression Homes is a builder of single-family homes and multi-family units for both the BTR and owner-occupied markets in Florida. Headquartered in Jacksonville, the company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Temporary Amenity Center Construction Manager to oversee the construction of a community amenity center. The position is expected to last approximately 6 months and there may be the opportunity to take on more jobs for the company after the completion of this amenity center. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial construction, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to manage timelines, budgets, subcontractors, and on-site crews to ensure successful project delivery. General Duties and Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of the construction project including planning, scheduling, and execution • Oversee site operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards • Work directly with architects, engineers, inspectors, and contractors to define project requirements and expectations • Develop and maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and adjust timelines as needed to meet deadlines • Responsible for cost control • Ensure the proper coordination of trades • Conduct site inspections to ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications • Resolve conflicts, delays, or other issues that may arise during the construction process • Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and completed • Track and report project status, risks, and milestones to management Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred • Minimum 5 years of experience with commercial construction projects • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, building codes, safety regulations, and industry best-practices • Proficiency in project management software • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications • OSHA 30 certification • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and proof of auto liability insurance At Southern Impression Homes, employment decisions are based on personal capabilities and qualifications without regard to race, creed, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, veteran status, pregnancy, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic as established by law.
