Job Title: Wind Energy Technician Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Energy Technician to join our team. As a Wind Energy Technician, you will be responsible for traveling throughout the USA on an 8 week on / 2 week off rotation to wind farms throughout the U.S. Key Responsibilities: • Cross-country travel by air or truck on an 8/2 rotational basis to perform composite blade repair uptower via platforms or internal blade up to 120 meters • Epoxy and Polyester resin wet layup, vacuum infusion and structural repair including leading edge, tips and root • Completing detailed Daily Progress Reporting Documents and QAQC reports as well as onsite stock checks Requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have the following qualifications: • No fear of heights • At least 1 year of successful Composite repair experience • Uptower Platform experience • GWO Blade Repair certification or SGRE Blade C or SGRE Blade D qualification • GWO Basic Safety Training (BST) certification • GWO Crain/Chain Hoist certification • GWO Slinger Signaler certification • SGRE North America EHS Regional Compliance training • Ability to safely and correctly use powered hand tools • IT literate (email, internet, iPad) • Willing to spend time away from home in the field • Valid, current driver's license and satisfactory MVR check • Age 21 or above to drive a company vehicle • Meet strenuous physical requirements of climbing ladders 2 or more times per day up to 1200 meters, bend, crawl, stoop and lift up to 75 pounds • US / Canadian citizens or legal to work in either country What We Offer: As a valued member of our team, you can expect: • Upskilling opportunities via GEV Academy • Bespoke reporting system with training provided • Streamlined communications for technicians with regular Business and Project updates via GEV technician engagement platform • Ongoing work for top talent

As a Wind Turbine Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance tasks on wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Key Responsibilities: • Travel extensively to perform scheduled and unscheduled wind turbine maintenance • Lead and mentor wind technicians during troubleshooting, repairs, and service operations • Perform electrical and mechanical tasks, including: • Torquing, tensioning, greasing, and filter changes • Hydraulic and electrical component maintenance • Major component exchanges (MCEs) • Alignments using mechanical or laser tools • Use of borescopes for inspections • Charging accumulators and using amp clamps • Perform LOTO procedures on all energy sources; conduct HV switching operations • Read and interpret electrical/hydraulic schematics and one-line diagrams • Terminate wires based on schematics and identify motors, generators, and other components • Use diagnostic tools and support site punch-list closeouts • Develop work instructions and safety documentation • Maintain accurate records and report all safety or technical issues promptly Requirements: • Must have 3+ years of successful service and troubleshooting experience on Wind Turbines • Valid passport preferred • Ability to work an 8-week on, 1 week off rotation • Physically able to safely climb wind turbines up to 120m+ • Must have strong experience doing torquing and tensioning • Must have strong experience using a grease gun, doing filter changes • Valid and current driver's license with a satisfactory driving record • Must be 21 years of age to drive a company vehicle • Must be able to proficiently read, write and speak English • Satisfactory criminal background check • The following certifications or training: • GWO BST (Basic Safety Training) - fire awareness, working at heights, manual handling, first aid • GWO BTT (Basic Technical Training) - electrical, hydraulic, mechanical • OSHA 10 General Industry • Crane, Chain Hoist and Rigging Safety Training • NFPA 70E Arc-Flash Awareness Prefer training or experience with Touchscreen Controller Hand Terminals
