Responsibilities: As a Technician for our Generator division, you will be primarily responsible for disassembly, inspection, final assembly and testing of wind turbine generator components in a remanufacturing shop work environment. Requirements for this position: Good organizational and communication skills. Experience working with basic hand tools. Ability to operate power, air tools, forklifts, and overhead cranes with heavy loads. Always maintain a safety-first mentality. Ability to follow detailed work instructions. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge and aptitude. Possess problem solving, reasoning, reasonable judgment, and analytical skills. Demonstrate teamwork, initiative and a positive attitude. Preferred Qualifications: Previous EHS certifications and good safety record. Experience with generators or shop/uptower repairs of major components. Experience in engine and transmission heavy repairs. Experience in heavy equipment, generators, power transmissions, and hydraulic drive systems.
