Job Summary Immediate openings available for candidates with 5+ years MIG welding and fabrication experience to work with materials ranging from 20 gauge to 10 gauge. Direct hire: FULL TIME SECOND SHIFT HOURS : MONDAY – THURSDAY 3:15 P.M. – 1:45 A.M. May initially train on First Shift approx 1 – 2 wks: First Shift hours: MON – FRI 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. SKILLED and DEPENDABLE REQUIRED: • TIG AND MIG welding experience; 5-7 years in relatable industry. • Proven proficiency and demonstrated skill in both TIG + MIG welding with a variety of metals; particularly Stainless down to 20 ga. (Average ga is 14-16.) and some Aluminum. • Experience with Modular Fixturing – 1 yr. minimum • Weld test / print test and interview required at time of interview. Candidate to supply helmet/gloves. • Proven ability to read and interpret drawings and weld symbols. Willing and able to grind and polish, stud and spot weld as required. • Formal Welding School training EDUCATION: High school or equivalent with additional Formal Welding school training Familiarity with ISO procedures /quality standards is beneficial. Independence is necessary – as is the ability to work as a part of a team. Standing, Sitting, Reaching, Bending, Stretching, Lifting to 75 lbs. Pushing, Pulling, Fine tactical skills necessary. Prefer candidates live in Columbus or surrounding areas. Must have your own helmet and tools. Familiarity with ISO helpful.
