Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various welding techniques. This role involves working with metal components to fabricate and assemble structures, piping, fixing broken components, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications. Responsibilities- Candidate should be able to weld pipe and structural. Stainless TIG experience is required. Candidate should be proficient in multiple types of welding (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW). We are not looking for a one trick pony. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, should be able to look at a drawing and fabricate the intended product. Candidate should be able to be on their feet for multiple hours at a time and must be able to use a variety of hand tools. Must be able to climb ladders and scaffolds, traverse gangways, and work in heights. Must be able to lift and carry up to 120lbs, use cutting torches, welding machines, and other essential tools to complete projects with precision. We do work in many fields for many types of businesses. Must be able to work outside in possible inclement weather. We will provide all the tools necessary for you to complete any task we give you. candidates must supply their own: Hard Hat, FR shirts, Hard toe boots/shoes (steel toe or composite REQUIRED), welding helmet, and welding gloves. Candidate will also be responsible for cleaning the shop periodically. Production/fabrication is about 75% of the job. There will be a combo pipe test at the beginning of the interview process. Typical hours are 07:00a – 3:30p Mon – Fri. sometimes start, and end times will vary based on the needs of the job. Overtime may also be required. On big out of town jobs there may be a need to stay at a company provided hotel near the jobsite typically you would still be home on the weekends.
