Key Responsibilities • Perform welding on both piping and structural components. • Demonstrate proficiency in various welding methods, including GTAW (TIG), SMAW (stick), FCAW (flux-core), and GMAW (MIG). • Accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings to fabricate components to specification. • Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools essential to fabrication and welding work. • Work at heights using ladders, scaffolding, and gangways; must be comfortable with physical demands such as lifting up to 120 lbs and standing for extended periods. • Utilize cutting torches, welding machines, and other equipment with a high level of precision and safety. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment; shop cleaning duties will be required. • Adapt to a variety of jobsite conditions, including outdoor environments and inclement weather. • There will be a weld test on site at our shop. Work Schedule • Typical hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (start/end times may vary based on job requirements). • Overtime may be required based on project timelines. • Travel may be required for out-of-town projects; accommodations will be provided. Weekend return is typical most of the time however it is not always guaranteed based on job timelines.
