We're looking for a talented Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team at Formers Internatioanl, Inc. a leading manufacturing company specializing in a component for packaging machinery. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work with minimal supervision. The Sheet Metal Fabricator will fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts and products based on engineering drawings and specifications. They should have experience with different fabrication techniques, machinery, and tools, possess a keen attention to detail, and demonstrate proficiency in interpreting technical drawings. An entry-level sheet metal fabricator who will be responsible for transforming flat metal sheets into usable products and components using various fabrication methods. Duties and Responsibilities: • Fabricate and assemble sheet metal parts and products according to engineering specifications. • Utilize various fabrication techniques to work with stainless steel and aluminum, handling thicknesses ranging from 18 Ga. to 1/4" (Preferred). • Use and interpret rulers, calipers, combination scales, and measuring tape proficiently. • Work with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality output. • Adhere to company safety policies and maintain a clean and safe work environment. • Perform additional tasks assigned by Management. Qualifications: • High School Diploma • Preferred 1-3 years of experience working in a fabrication shop. Skills/Abilities/Knowledge Essential to the Position : • Strong knowledge of basic mathematics and computer skills. • Proficiency in analytical thinking and problem-solving. Physical Requirements: • Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs. • Capable of standing for extended periods of time.
