Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and metal fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various construction projects, including roofing, remodeling, and restoration tasks. The Sheet Metal Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. 2-5 YEARS REQUIRED. Duties • Fabricate and install sheet metal products according to specifications and blueprints • Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently • Perform heavy lifting as required for various tasks • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites, including carpenters, plumbers, and masons • Conduct concrete forming and metal stud framing as needed • Utilize caulking techniques for sealing joints and seams • Engage in trim carpentry, stucco application, and tile laying as part of project requirements • Maintain a clean and organized work area while ensuring compliance with safety regulations • Assist in estimating project costs related to materials and labor Skills • Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics • Experience with construction site practices and safety protocols • Strong skills in fabrication techniques and welding processes • Knowledge of roofing systems and materials • Familiarity with maintenance person tasks including plumbing, masonry, and remodeling projects • Ability to perform restoration work effectively • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail Join our team of dedicated professionals where your skills will be valued, and your contributions will make a significant impact on our projects.
