Sheet Metal Manufacturing Specialist About the Opportunity: We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and prepare manual 12-ton press brake for production runs. • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine proper setup and bending sequences. • Select and install appropriate tooling and dies for each job. • Program machine settings including bend angles, back gauge positions, and tonnage requirements. • Safely operate the press brake to bend, shape, and form sheet metal parts to precise measurements. • Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to ensure product quality and accuracy. Required Skills and Qualifications: • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Proven experience as a Setup Operator in sheet metal manufacturing. • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation. • Able to accurately measure and inspect parts using precision measuring tools. • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. • Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to machine operation. • Excellent attention to detail and quality orientation.
