Job Title: Metal Fabricator We are looking for a highly skilled Metal Fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience with metalworking techniques, including welding, cutting, and shaping. Key Responsibilities: • Setup and operation of welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and Arc welding. • Inspection of welds for quality and integrity, making adjustments as necessary. • Use of various tools and equipment, such as grinders and chippers, to prepare surfaces for welding. • Collaboration with colleagues to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • BOCES or trade school education supplemented by special study or on-the-job training to receive certification for all welding processes and procedures. • Proficiency test applies. Work Environment: • May be required to move items up to 60 pounds for distances of up to 10 feet. • May be required to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, and squat for extended periods of time. • May be exposed to fumes or dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts, and moderate to loud noise levels.
