Journeyman Plumber

FG Mechanical is a fast-growing plumbing contractor specializing in residential new construction, light commercial TI, and radiant heating systems. We are licensed in both Washington and Idaho and are seeking motivated Journeyman Plumbers to join our team. We value professionalism, craftsmanship, and teamwork. Responsibilities: • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential and commercial projects. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and building codes. • Perform groundworks, rough-in, top-out, and trim-out phases. • Work with materials such as PEX (expansion), ABS, copper, and cast iron. • Collaborate with apprentices, foremen, and other trades on site. • Ensure all work meets UPC 2021 and local code requirements. • Maintain jobsite safety, cleanliness, and professionalism. Requirements: • Current Journeyman Plumber License (Washington or Idaho). • Minimum of 3–5 years plumbing experience in residential or commercial work. • Strong knowledge of codes, layouts, and installation practices. • Ability to work independently and lead apprentices when needed. • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. • Strong communication and organizational skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with radiant floor heating systems. • Prior work on large-scale residential (townhomes, apartments) or light commercial TI. • Ability to create material lists and manage jobsite logistics Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive hourly pay (based on experience & license level). • Overtime opportunities. • Paid holidays. • Opportunities for advancement into foreman and supervisory roles. • Future benefits package (health insurance & 401k) currently in development.
