The Journey Pipefitter plays a crucial role in our operations by installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining industrial piping and pumping systems, as well as pipe supports for sprinkler systems. This position is essential to ensure optimal operations throughout our facilities. The Journey Pipefitter must comply with safety standards at all times and is responsible for cutting pipe, laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining piping for industrial production and processing. Additionally, troubleshooting and repairing piping systems and supports is a key responsibility. Utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and create reports is also part of the job. The Journey Pipefitter may be required to perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Planning Supervisor and Pipefitter Lead. On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities. If awarded lead status, the individual will act as a functional expert and serve as a point of contact in the area of responsibility, assisting the supervisor with daily reports and crew member assignments, and providing training.
