Position Details Position Information Working Title Zone PM Associate - Welder Pipe Fitter Brief Summary of Job Description This position is responsible for the maintenance and service of campus pumps and closed loop systems. Job Duties -Maintain and maintenance piping systems. -Prepare new and old inventory of equipment. -Preform preventative maintenance on pumps and piping. -Clean equipment and maintenance area. -Willingness to obtain license/certificate. -Perform pipe fitting and welding. -Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop drawings, and schematics. -Must be able to work independently, with little supervision. -Must perform all work in a safe and professional manner. -Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications -High school Diploma or GED -Knowledge of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning machinery and components. -Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, shop drawings -Valid motor vehicle operator's license. -Welding certification for process piping within 6 months of start date. Preferred Qualifications Two years mechanical experience Physical Demands Schedule M-F, 7:00am - 4:00pm; Will be on a rotating back up schedule to cover vacationing staff on the 24 hour crew.
